Prescott Perspectives - An exhibition of Photography

The Prescott exhibition of photography took place at The Gardens Gallery, Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham and ran from Wednesday 11 April to Tuesday 17 April inclusive.

The exhibition entitled “Prescott Perspectives” showcased a wonderful display of 60 pieces of work taken by 25 talented photographers (both professional and amateur) that regularly attend our meets.

Their work truly captured the essence and atmosphere of Prescott, and many of the visitors commented how much they enjoyed seeing a new and different exhibition in the gallery, or even delight that they actually featured in the pictures selected.

The exhibition proved a huge success, and received over 750 visitors over the course of the week. We are extremely grateful to both the photographers and volunteers from the Bugatti Owners Club with all their help. Whilst we haven’t been able to book the gallery again for 2013, the next exhibition will be held from 7 May 2014 for a week. We’ve also booked for 2015 too!

    Bike Festival – Sunday 22nd April 2012
The second annual Prescott Bike Festival took place on Sunday 22 April and raised in excess of £30,000 for the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes.

The event attracted more than 5,000 visitors who enjoyed an action-packed day which included displays of classic and modern bikes, plus a raft of motorcycling celebrities riding up the famous Prescott hill.

Steve Parrish, who surprisingly had never visited Prescott before, said: "I had a great day at the Prescott Bike Festival. I was like a kid in a sweet shop with other like-minded petrol-heads. Riding a 220mph grand prix Ducati up a hill that I hadn't seen before certainly got my attention. Then I was given the keys to a brand new Morgan 3 Wheeler to take prize winners for a run. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday."

John Reynolds, Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes Ambassador, said: "Once again the Prescott Bike Festival was a resounding success and it is now definitely the place for bikers to be in April. As well as everybody thoroughly enjoying themselves, despite the inclement weather in the afternoon, the great news is that more than £30,000 was raised to help the vital work of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes."
