BUGATTI SPARES

The Spares Dept is open and staffed Tuesday & Thursday only, between 09.00 hours and 16.30 hours UK time.

Please Fax or E-Mail your Orders or Enquiries when the Department is closed and we will acknowledge on reopening.

ALL MEMBERS REQUIRING SPARES ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE VISITING PRESCOTT, AND IF SPARES ARE TO BE COLLECTED THEY MUST BE PRE-ORDERED.

 Payment for purchases of Spares

The Club prefers payment of invoices over £10.00 by credit or debit card at the time of despatch; we accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch or Visa/Delta.   At the time of placing your order the card details must be quoted, including the expiry date and in the case of debit cards, the issue or commencement date.    Invoices for less than £10.00 must be paid by cheque.    Cheques from overseas must be in £ Sterling and drawn on a British Bank, regrettably we can no longer accept Eurocheques, nor can we accept from visitors to Prescott cash payments in Euro’s.

First of all many thanks to all who have welcomed me to the Spares Department of the Bugatti Owners’ Club.  I am thoroughly enjoying my new role and hopefully now beginning to find my way around the storeroom in order to provide a helpful and efficient service to you.  Please do be patient – I don’t know all the part numbers just yet and it certainly is a huge help if you are able to provide these.  Your spares will arrive much quicker!

It was great to meet some members at the VSCC meeting and to put faces to the voices at the end of the telephone.  A good weekend was had by all and at long last the weather was kind.

I would like to give special thanks to John Roseblade, Peter Candy and Roland Heywood for the invaluable support they have given me, both technically and generally, and also to the members of the Bugatti Trust for their assistance.  I am very grateful to you all.

 NEW PARTS NOT SHOWN IN THE PARTS CATALOGUE

 Brescia Water Pump Impeller – Part No A77A.  This part is now produced in bronze.           

 B5A Oil Union Bolts

We have had an enquiry regarding the diameter of the jet hole.  As supplied these have a pilot diameter for drilling to relevant diameters as show in fig 21 & 22 (page 24) in the Bugatti Overhaul Manual (H1B).  Please always refer to the manual before fitting these oil union bolts.

 Hood & Tonneau Cover Fittings

We have been lucky to receive a number of hood fittings from a lady who kindly donated these to us.  They are available to club members for a nominal sum.  Please do contact us for further details.

Brescia and T37 Cylinder Blocks

We usually have in stock one block of each, we will not produce any more until we receive sufficient orders.

THE SPARE PARTS CATALOGUE

The 1997 Replacement Parts Catalogue will remain valid for at least another year, but the quarterly supplements, with revisions, will continue to be listed in this Newsletter. We have though compiled all the supplements from 1997 through to 2006 into a small booklet with index. Please advise us if you would like a copy.                               

THE SPARES DEPARTMENT

Please remember that the Spares Department functions as a service to Club Members, and can only operate with your support.    Our prices are competitive in relation to the quality standards that we insist upon from our suppliers, and stock items are readily available.

We have, over the years, compiled quite a lot of information with regard to a source of supply for many parts, which are not listed in our spares manual.   This includes cylinder blocks for T35, T46 and T57, engine, supercharger, gearbox and clutch parts; together with steering, suspension and front and rear axle parts, electrical components, including complete wiring harness for T57, and many more.

If you cannot find the parts you require listed in the spares manual, nor in the supplements which are published in the newsletter, please write, e-mail, or fax the Spares Office., giving full details of your requirements and the model for which they are required, we will then pursue the matter for you.

Should you require a summary of the supplements published between March 1997 and March 2006, please write, fax or e-mail your request to the Spares Office.
