Twenty-five rooms, both double and twin-bedded, have been booked at The Chase Hotel, with whom bookings should be made direct, quoting “Bugatti Spring Rally”. The Rally will start at Prescott, meeting on the afternoon of Sunday, 13 th May, as part of The Rotary Club event. It is planned for there to be a cavalcade of participants’ cars up the Hill, followed by afternoon tea and a leisurely drive to the Hotel. Double-occupancy rooms cost £135 per night inclusive of a three-course dinner, bed and breakfast. The first evening at the Hotel will be marked by a Reception at which rally packs will be issued. A sale of Exceptional Motor Cars and related Automobilia including the Bugatti Veyron Crank donated to the Club by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S Molsheim, with proceeds to the Friends of Prescott Club House Appeal

Thursday 1st March – LadyBug tour of Beckford Silk & Lunch: Meet for coffee at Beckford Silk, Gloucestershire, followed by a guided tour of the design and production printing process, with additional insight provided by Carolyn Venables-Llewelyn designer of the Bugatti scarf. There will be an opportunity to purchase silk and velvet scarves and fabric. A two course lunch with a glass of wine has been arranged at a local hostelry. Tickets available in advance from the Club Office, £22.50, including a donation to the Friends of Prescott fund. Numbers limited to 25. (Bugatti Owner Club Members Only)

Sunday 25th March - Vulcan Bomber Tour, Wellesbourne Airfield, Warwickshire: A close up encounter with the aircraft not normally available to the general public, with a detailed talk about all aspects of the aircraft, its history at Wellesbourne and a visit to the cockpit. An engine bay will be open to give a worm’s eye view of one of the mighty Bristol Olympus engines, and we should also see the cavernous bomb bay. Subject to favourable wind conditions there will be an opportunity for a group photograph with appropriate cars alongside the aircraft. This late morning visit is a must for Vulcan fans but numbers are strictly limited to 26. All of this is in return for a donation of £15 per person, to be divided equally between the 655 Maintenance and Preservation Society and the Friends of Prescott fund. Saturday July 14th - Friends of Prescott Hill Day & Social Evening: Join members and guests to celebrate with ‘Friends’ on and off the hill during the day and at an evening social event.
